On 6th September 2018 we had our annual competition
conducted by Nestlé. Students of the FY, SY, TYBSc and the Craft
Bakery class participated in it. The following were the winners;
First Prize Ms. Nadene Barboza, Second Prize Mr. Abish Printer and
Third prize Mr. Vedant Jathar in the category of desserts. In the
category of savouries we had Ms. Nikita Shah in first place, Ms.
Rhea D’costa in second place and the third prize was given to Mr.
Darren D’souza. This year both categories were given consolation
prizes which were won by Ms. Janice Concessio for the dessert
section and Ms. Sherryann Shirname for the savoury.

Finger Food Display
A Finger-food Display was put up on 31st August
2018 by the Craft Bakery class.
Sandwich Presentation
A presentation on sandwiches was put up by the
Craft Bakery class on 28th August 2018.
Theme Dinner - ‘La
Raya’
The theme dinner this year, on authentic Iberian
cuisine, was held on 3rd August 2018 and the event was named ‘La
Raya’. It was conducted by our third year students in collaboration
with second and first years giving them a firsthand exposure to
handling big events.
Workshop by “Clefs
d’or”
On 13th of July 2018 Team “Clefs d’or” was invited
for conducting a workshop on the subject of specialized functions
of the concierge desk for our third year
students.
Orientation
Orientation program was organized for the FYBSc. in
Hospitality studies and the Craft Bakery students on 29th June and
2nd July 2018 respectively followed by some refreshments for the
students and their parents.
Outreach
Sadhana Workshop
A special workshop was conducted on chocolates, savoury snacks,
International Desserts, International Breads, pies and tarts for
the students of Sadhana school (school for differently abled
children) on the 25th of September 2017, 12th of October 2017 and
on 15th, 16th and 23rd of January 2018 respectively.
Christmas Outreach
‘Christmas Outreach’ is an annual programme that provides an
insight about the marginalized brethren of our society. This
program was organised in the first week of December 2017.
